The popular West Wight Triathlon is back for 2016 with its spectacular 35km cycle along the Military Road, along the south west coast of the Isle of Wight and flat 7.5km run along the picturesque River Yar. Transition is in the field adjoining West Wight Sports Centre where the pool for the 600m swim is located. An ideal race for first timers but challenging enough for more experienced racers.
Taking place on Sunday 18 September, the event costs £32 (BTA, £35 for non BTA) for individuals and £50 for team entries. There are trophies, medals and spot prizes and showers, changing rooms, lockers, toilets and a café is available.
