New event for 2014!

New to the Cycling Festival 2014 is Cyclo-cross! It’s a fantastic, family friendly form of bicycle racing that makes for an exciting spectator event. This will be the first time that the Isle of Wight has held a round of the Wessex Cyclo-cross league.

All abilities are welcome to join in and experience the thrills and spills of this great event. Taking place at Medina Leisure Centre on Saturday 20 September, this will be six race categories, including; Under 12’s, Youth, Novice 16+, Junior, Veteran, Women and Senior.

All riders must wear a helmet and have a bike suitable for off-road use. Anyone without a British Cycling membership will need to purchase a race licence for £3 on the day.
