Author: Isle of Wight Cycling Festival, Dated: 26/02/2020
Throughout the week commencing Monday 17th March, Bob Diggles, Sport Relief 2014 reporter for BBC Radio Solent will be undertaking a bit of an adventure on the radio and online!

He will swim in the four 'mouths' of the south – Portsmouth, Yarmouth, Bournemouth and Weymouth, run up the highest hills in South Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight and cycle the 250 miles in between.  Bob doesn't want to do this alone... he would like to be accompanied on every mile of his journey by volunteers doing as much or as little as they can.

Bob will be cycling from East Cowes to Ventnor in the breakfast show, running up St Boniface Down in the morning, cycling from Ventnor to Yarmouth via the Needles in the afternoon and swimming in the sea at Yarmouth during the drivetime show.  If you’re an Isle of Wight swimmer, runner or cyclist and would like to join Bob for Island leg of his trek on Tuesday 18th March please get in touch with him bob.diggles@bbc.co.uk.

Bob will broadcast his progress with live reports on breakfast, morning, afternoon and drive time shows on BBC Radio Solent, on Twitter (@BBCradiosolent) and on the BBC Radio Solent Facebook page (www.facebook.com/BBCRadioSolent).
