| Also taking place is the 2007 West Wight Triathlon on Sunday September 16th. This is one of the most picturesque triathlon events in the South of England. It consists of a 600 metre pool swim, 35km cycle, 7.5 km run. The cycle route takes in the spectacular coastal Military Road and the run is a flat out and back route along the River Yar.
