Carbon Cycle Celebration

St James Sqaure, Newport

The Carbon Cycle Celebration will be an occasion to celebrate one of the best ever invented modes of transport: The Bike!  It aims to highlight the amazing efficiency of the "steel horse" as well as all the environmental advantages that come with it, such as cleaner air, less noise pollution and better health for all!

Enjoy the live music or have a go at the challenging obstacle course.  There will be cycling information, road safety displays, bike wrapping, mountain bike shows and more.

Starting on Saturday 4 July, the day the world’s greatest bike race the Tour de France starts, and finishing on Saturday 5 September, the eve of the Friends Life Tour of Britain’s Grand Depart from Anglesey. The event visits the Island on 12 and 13 August, starting and finishing in Ryde.
Do you love cycling? Are you free between the 5 and 27 September 2020? Do you enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Island’s natural wonders all from the saddle of your bike? Would you like to be a key member of the Island’s largest cycling event?

If any of the above apply to you why not join this year’s Isle of Wight Cycling Festival as a volunteer ride leader?
